Pixel Watch 4 Debuts with Brighter Display and Improved Performance

Google has officially launched the Pixel Watch 4, introducing updates in display brightness, performance, and AI features.

The new model features a brighter screen with thinner bezels, offering clearer visibility under sunlight. Google says the display brightness is now 50% higher, making it easier to read outdoors. The screen is also slightly more curved, improving the viewing angle.

In performance, the Pixel Watch 4 includes an upgraded processor that enhances speed and energy efficiency. It also provides better battery life and faster charging, helping users stay connected longer with less downtime.

The smartwatch continues Google’s classic round design but now includes stronger haptics, improved speaker clarity, and enhanced GPS for precise location tracking. It also adds satellite SOS support, enabling emergency contact in areas without network coverage — a useful feature for outdoor users.

Running on Wear OS 6, the Pixel Watch 4 integrates Gemini AI to power smart replies, health insights, and real-time help. It works seamlessly with the Fitbit app, where users can track fitness goals, heart rate, and sleep performance.

Google has also started rolling out an updated Fitbit app that brings new AI health insights and training suggestions. The update will reach users in stages.

The Pixel Watch 4 is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, with Wi-Fi and LTE options. Prices start at $349 in the U.S.

With this release, Google focuses on refining user experience instead of redesigning the watch completely — showing its aim to improve stability, battery life, and smart assistance.
